Hello, I’m Ethan!

I am a transqueer, Portland-based GIS professional, and I'm passionate about interpreting complex phenomena through geo-visual modeling and cartographic design. I hold a degree in Geography and Geospatial Analysis from California State Polytechnic University, Humboldt, and I'm currently contracted as a GIS consultant and Esri App designer for Pacific Northwest Forest-Climate Alliance, a network of organizations and activists working at the intersection of forest defense and climate justice. My interests include mapping and analyzing natural hazards, humanitarian crises, environmental degradation, and community resiliency.
